Bera Was is a small village of 373 hectares in Ramgarh Tehsil in Alwar district in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Bera Was depends on ALWAR, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include Two taps, One Well supply, which is 2.00% of the total supply, Two tanks, One tubewell, and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, Two canals and Two springs. Bera Was is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Handpump. Bera Was's pin code is 301028[4], and village code is 00835000. The area of Bera Was is segregated as 19 hectares irrigated area, 98 hectares unirrigated, the 10 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 246 hectare area not available for cultivation.
