Jimmy Francois (born October 10, 1988), better known by his stage name Bentley Bugz, is an American rapper, actor, songwriter and entrepreneur.
Early life
Bentley Bugz is from the Canarsie neighborhood of Brooklyn and of Haitian descent.
Career
Since 5th grade Bentley Bugz has been lyrically battling people to show off his rap skills. He Was inspired by Cassidy and his older cousin to pursue music as a career. In 2010 he started recording and taking music more seriously.
Bentley Bugz dropped his first song and video called “I’m Already Dead” in 2011. The success accumulated from that track which motivated him to drop another single in 2012. Right before his first mixtape called “Hunting Season” was released, he caught a case and was sent to rikers island. He ended up serving 10 years in the State Penitentiary.
On Oct 21, 2020 Bentley Bugz was released from prison and was able to continue is music career. He made his first apparence on a podcast called "Gods of The City TV" Followed by his first music video called "They Wanna Know”.
