Benedikt Sobotka is a German business executive. He served as Chief Executive Officer of the multinational mining corporation Eurasian Resources Group (ERG) from 2014 to 2024.[1] During his tenure, ERG engaged with organizations such as the World Economic Forum[2] and the United Nations Global Compact.[3]
He held the position of Co-Chair at the Global Battery Alliance (GBA), a multi-stakeholder initiative established through the World Economic Forum to improve sustainability in the battery value chain.[4]
