Bence Bozóki
Bence Bozóki (5 March 1986) is a British-Hungarian intellectual property (IP) counsel from Budapest, Hungary, residing in London, United Kingdom. Currently working at Mars, Incorporated, he is an internationally recognised IP professional included in World Trademark Review's 2021 and 2022 editions of the top 300 leading corporate professionals in the industry.[1][2] He is also a member of the MARQUES Unfair Competition Team.[3]
Early life and education
Bozóki attended Eötvös Loránd University between 2004 and 2009, where he studied Law and earned a Juris Doctor degree. He spent his fourth year of university at the University of Konstanz on an Erasmus Programme[4] where he first studied intellectual property law attending lectures of Professor Karl-Heinz Fezer. He wrote his thesis on capital punishment in the United States.[5]
Career
Between 2010 and 2015, Bence Bozóki worked at SBGK, a leading intellectual property law firm in Budapest, Hungary. At SBGK, his role included representing clients in trademark disputes before the General Court (European Union) and the Court of Justice of the European Union.[6][7] In 2015, he relocated to London and took on the role of IP Counsel at Mars, Incorporated. In 2021, Bozóki was promoted to Senior IP Counsel at the same company. He is a regular presenter of intellectual property law topics at various professional events and conferences.[8][9][10]
Personal life
Besides his mother tongue, Hungarian, he speaks English and German fluently. Bozóki currently resides with his partner in London. In his free time, he enjoys playing football, listening to music, and recording rap music.[11] He has been a long-time supporter of FC Bayern Munich, and a member of the Bayern Munich UK Fan Club.
