Benan is a small village of 1789 hectares in Bilara Tehsil in Jodhpur district, also known as the Blue City in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Benan depends on Pipar City, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include Two taps, One Well supply, which is 31.69% of the total supply, One tank, One tubewell, and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, Two canals and Two springs. Benan is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Handpump. Benan's pin code is 342601[4], and village code is 02008000. The area of Benan is segregated as 31.69 hectares irrigated area, 1384.9 hectares unirrigated, the 246.12 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 126.23 hectare area not available for cultivation.

Benan is a census village in the district of Jodhpur, Rajasthan. The village has a total population of 2490 and has total administration over 441 houses which are connected to supplies basic amenities like water and sewerage.

They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of Pipar City and Jodhpur to sell agricultural produce and make their living.
