Ben Robert James Walker is a journalist in the United Kingdom.

Early life

Ben Walker was born on 30 December 1975 in Nottingham. He holds a degree in geography from the University of Newcastle, from which he graduated in 1997.

Writing

Walker is a specialist in business and public policy journalism. He has interviewed a number of well-known business leaders and academics, including management philosopher Charles Handy[1] and the late British businesswoman Jacqueline Gold.[2] He has won several awards for his writing and editing – including as editor for Memcom’s magazine of the year in 2013 (Accounting Technician)[3] and 2015 (Professional Manager).[4] Walker is a ghostwriter for several chief executives, businesspeople and senior academics. He hosts the Chartered Institute of Marketing’s Marketing Podcast.[5] He is editor-at-large of Dialogue and head of media at London agency LID Business Media.[6]
