Benjamin John Peverall (born 23 January 1992) is an English cricket umpire. He was born in Bristol, and currently resides in Somerset.
Peverall started umpiring in 2014 in the West of England Premier League before being elevated to the ECB National Panel of Umpires in 2019, standing in ECB Second XI Championship and National Counties Cricket Association fixtures. During his time on the National Panel, he made his List A cricket debut on 2 August 2022, in the 2022 One-Day Cup, officiating a match between Worcestershire and Kent.[1].
In 2023, Peverall was awarded a contract with England and Wales Cricket Board, joining the Professional Umpires' Team. During this year he made his debut in the T20 Blast at The Ageas Bowl in a match between Hampshire Hawks and Sussex Sharks[2], and stood in the Rachael Heyhoe Flint Trophy Final which was contested by Southern Vipers and The Blaze[3]
