Biography

Ben Hum (also known as Benjamin Hum, simplified Chinese: 范平庚; traditional Chinese: 范平庚; pinyin: fàn píng gēng; born 18 November) is a Singaporean Singer-Songwriter who specializes in English and Mandarin Pop with over 10 years of stage experiences.

Career

In 2007, Ben triumphed over 4500 contestants to be crowned the Top 2 finalist position in the Male category of the second season of Campus Superstar. Despite being one of the youngest of the lot, Ben was arguably one of the strongest contestants then with his soothing voice and boyish charm and in 2016, the Top 27 of the The Voice of China Season 5 Auditions held in Singapore. Though young, Ben has over 10 years of stage experiences. Over the years, not only did he made his appearances on national television for prominent shows such as Mediacorp's Star Awards, Campus Superstar, S-Pop, major countdown events nationwide, he has also been invited to judge various singing competitions due to his expertise in the area. Ben has released songs and produced numerous notable covers on his Youtube Channel which has captured the attention of major media channels including Taiwan's Biggest Talent Page with an astonishing 3 million traffic, TTShow.TW (which covers all Taiwan's outstanding audio and video creators).
