Benjamin (Ben) Goodair (born 1995) is a scholar of privatisation of health and social care services. He is based at the London School of Economics and the Blavatnik School of Government, University of Oxford. His work explores the increasing rates of outsourcing of public services, the reasons for this, and the consequences for service users.[1]
Ben's work has had a wide-reaching policy impact, having been extensively referenced in both the UK Parliament and the international news media, including The Guardian, Financial Times, Bloomberg, Sky News, New Statesman and more.[2]
Education
Ben completed his DPhil in Social Intervention and Policy Evaluation at the University of Oxford (2024). Previously, he studied at the London School of Economics (M.Sc., Social Policy (Research)) and the University of Manchester (BA (Hons), Politics and Modern History).[3]
