Belwa is a small village of 1158 hectares in Shergarh Tehsil in Jodhpur district, also known as the Blue City in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Belwa depends on Jodhpur, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include One tap, One Well supply, Two tanks, One tubewell, and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, Two canals and Two springs. Belwa is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Handpump. Belwa's pin code is 342023[4], and village code is 01984300. The area of Belwa is segregated as 68 hectares irrigated area, 468 hectares unirrigated, the 16 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 606 hectare area not available for cultivation.

They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of Jodhpur to sell agricultural produce and make their living.
