Bello Abubakar Sheriff (born 1 November 1988) popularly known as Bello Sisqo is a Nigerian-born singer, songwriter, and dancer based in Germany.[1][2][3]

Early life and education

Bello Sisqo was born in Bama Local Government Area of Borno State, Nigeria. He grew up in Kano State where he received his conventional and Islamic education.[2]

Music Career

Sisqo began his career in entertainment as a dancer and later became a dancing tutor with the Kannywood film making industry in Nigeria.[2][3] He started recording his songs at Auwal DJ.[2] Sisqo gained international recognition after collaborating with Chizo Germany and Bobo in the song "Fada Da Gaskiya.[2][3]

Awards and nominations

Bello Sisqo has won the Best Music Video of the year award for 2021[2], and the Best EU artist award.[2]
