Belara Kalan is a small village of 476 hectares in Kumher Tehsil in Bharatpur district in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Belara Kalan depends on Kumher, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include Two taps, One Well supply, One tank, One tubewell, and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, Two canals and Two springs. Belara Kalan is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Handpump. Belara Kalan's pin code is 321201[4], and village code is 01029800. The area of Belara Kalan is segregated as 349.58 hectares irrigated area, 98 hectares unirrigated, the 5 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 23 hectare area not available for cultivation.
