Begti Kalan is a small village of 8297 hectares in Phalodi Tehsil in Jodhpur district, also known as the Blue City in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Begti Kalan depends on Phalodi, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include One tap, Two Wells supply, One tank, One tubewell, and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, Two canals and Two springs. Begti Kalan is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Tubewell. Begti Kalan's pin code is 342301[4], and village code is 01914900. The area of Begti Kalan is segregated as 74.14 hectares irrigated area, 5214.28 hectares unirrigated, the 2912.16 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 96.2 hectare area not available for cultivation.

Begti Kalan is a census village in the district of Jodhpur, Rajasthan. The village has a total population of 3744 and has total administration over 607 houses which are connected to supplies basic amenities like water and sewerage.

They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of Phalodi and Jodhpur to sell blanket and make their living.
