Beerod is a small village of 368 hectares in Mandawar Tehsil in Alwar district in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Beerod depends on KHAIRTHAL, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include Two taps, Two Wells supply, which is 100.00% of the total supply, Two tanks, One tubewell, and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, Two canals and Two springs. Beerod is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Handpump. Beerod's pin code is 301020[4], and village code is 00771800. The area of Beerod is segregated as 315 hectares irrigated area, 15 hectares unirrigated, remaining 38 hectare area not available for cultivation.
