Beerghas is a small village of 69 hectares in Chittaurgarh Tehsil in Chittorgarh district in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Beerghas depends on Chittaurgarh, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include Two taps, One Well supply, Two tanks, One tubewell, and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, Two canals and Two springs. Beerghas is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Handpump. Beerghas's pin code is 312001[4], and village code is 03606300. The area of Beerghas is segregated as 20 hectares irrigated area, 37.35 hectares unirrigated, the 8.95 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 2.67 hectare area not available for cultivation.
