Bedoo Kalan is a small village of 2437 hectares in Osian Tehsil in Jodhpur district, also known as the Blue City in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Bedoo Kalan depends on Phalodi, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include Two taps, Two Wells supply, Two tanks, One tubewell, and Two handpumps. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, Two canals and Two springs. Bedoo Kalan is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Tubewell. Bedoo Kalan's pin code is 342301[4], and village code is 01932500. The area of Bedoo Kalan is segregated as 2105.5 hectares unirrigated, the 285 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 46.59 hectare area not available for cultivation.

They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of Phalodi and Jodhpur to sell agricultural produce and make their living.
