Becky Baldwin (born 6th of April, 1991) is an English bassist known for her work in alt-rock band Hands off Gretel and Birmingham heavy metal band Fury.[1] In 2022, Becky toured in the USA, Canada and Mexico the as the stand-in bass player for Mercyful Fate while permanent member Joey Vera toured with Armoured Saint. [2]
Becky was discovered by Mercyful Fate's guitarist Hank Shermann via bass covers she posted on social media. When he recommended Becky to vocalist King Diamond, King found her at before their performance at Bloodstock Open Air 2022 and invited her to play the upcoming tour.[3]
