Bayad is a small village of 1440 hectares in Merta Tehsil in Nagaur district in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Bayad depends on Merta City, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include Two taps, One Well supply, Two tanks, One tubewell, and Two handpumps. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, Two canals and Two springs. Bayad is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Tubewell. Bayad's pin code is 341510[4], and village code is 01834600. The area of Bayad is segregated as 174 hectares irrigated area, 1050 hectares unirrigated, the 185 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 31.46 hectare area not available for cultivation.

Bayad is a census village in the district of Nagaur, Rajasthan. The village has a total population of 1826 and has total administration over 355 houses which are connected to supplies basic amenities like water and sewerage.

They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of Merta City and Nagaur to sell agricultural produce and make their living.
