Bawlas is a small village of 1479 hectares in Rashmi Tehsil in Chittorgarh district in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Bawlas depends on Chittaurgarh, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include One tap, One Well supply, which is 54.00% of the total supply, Two tanks, One tubewell, and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, Two canals and Two springs. Bawlas is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Handpump. Bawlas's pin code is 312901[4], and village code is 03528100. The area of Bawlas is segregated as 134 hectares irrigated area, 841 hectares unirrigated, the 415 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 89 hectare area not available for cultivation.

They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of Chittaurgarh and Chittorgarh to sell agricultural produce and make their living.
