Bawal Wara is a small village of 974 hectares in Kherwara Tehsil in Udaipur district in the state of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Bawal Wara depends on Kherwara Chhaoni, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include One tap, One Well supply, Two tanks, One tubewell, and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - One river, Two canals and Two springs. Bawal Wara is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Handpump. Bawal Wara's pin code is 313803[4], and village code is 03268900. The area of Bawal Wara is segregated as 2 hectares irrigated area, 230 hectares unirrigated, the 154 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 445 hectare area not available for cultivation.
