Bauer World Press is a publishing company known for publishing historical nonfiction, fiction, political philosophy, as well as translating European literature into English.
History
Bauer World Press was founded in Los Angeles in 2024 as a division of The Bauer Company, a privately held conglomerate founded by polymath Ingall Nocturne. Within its first year the company secured the rights to release Erich Maria Remarque's All Quiet on the Western Front. Later that same year they released Einhard's 9th Century biography of Charlemagne titled Vita Karoli Magni, quickly becoming regarded as the most comprehensive contextual translation in over a century.
Controversy
The company has been vocally critical of fellow publishing houses for altering the language of classic and juvenile literature due to what they claim is a response to "modern sensitivities, liberal bias, and a scaling down of English vocabulary."
In response, the company published their first piece of children's literature, the unabridged First Edition text of The Tower Treasure: The Hardy Boys.
