Batana is a small village of 333 hectares in Behror Tehsil in Alwar district in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Batana depends on BEHROR, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include Two taps, One Well supply, which is 23.50% of the total supply, One tank, Two tubewells, and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, Two canals and Two springs. Batana is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Handpump. Batana's pin code is 301708[4], and village code is 00757000. The area of Batana is segregated as 23.5 hectares irrigated area, 217.25 hectares unirrigated, the 9.56 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 83 hectare area not available for cultivation.

Batana is a census village in the district of Alwar, Rajasthan. The village has a total population of 510 and has total administration over 104 houses which are connected to supplies basic amenities like water and sewerage.

They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of BEHROR and Alwar to sell agricultural produce and make their living.
