Basni Sepha is a small village of 892 hectares in Jodhpur Tehsil in Jodhpur district, also known as the Blue City in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Basni Sepha depends on Jodhpur, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include One tap, Two Wells supply, One tank, One tubewell, and Two handpumps. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, Two canals and Two springs. Basni Sepha is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Tubewell. Basni Sepha's pin code is 342024[4], and village code is 01957400.
