Basni Manna is a small village of 1772 hectares in Shergarh Tehsil in Jodhpur district, also known as the Blue City in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Basni Manna depends on Jodhpur, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include One tap, Two Wells supply, One tank, Two tubewells, and Two handpumps. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, Two canals and Two springs. Basni Manna is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Tanker. Basni Manna's pin code is 342001[4], and village code is 01992500. The area of Basni Manna is segregated as 1674 hectares unirrigated, the 75 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 23 hectare area not available for cultivation.
