Basaud is a small village of 296 hectares in Khekada Tehsil in Bagpat district in the State of Uttar Pradesh, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Basaud depends on Agarwal Mandi, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include One tank, One tubewell and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sourcesOne canal. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Handpump. Basaud's pin code is 250601[4], and village code is 01058000. The area of Basaud is segregated as 536 hectares irrigated area. the 2 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves) and remaining 9 hectare area not available for cultivation.
