Basai Narooka is a small village of 206 hectares in Bansur Tehsil in Alwar district in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Basai Narooka depends on BEHROR, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include Two taps, One Well supply, which is 72.00% of the total supply, Two tanks, Two tubewells, and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, Two canals and Two springs. Basai Narooka is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Handpump. Basai Narooka's pin code is 301412[4], and village code is 00866900. The area of Basai Narooka is segregated as 117 hectares irrigated area, 53 hectares unirrigated, the 6 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 30 hectare area not available for cultivation.
