Barwas is a small village of 1247 hectares in Todaraisingh Tehsil in Tonk district in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Barwas depends on Todaraisingh, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include Two taps, One Well supply, One tank, Two tubewells, and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, Two canals and Two springs. Barwas is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Handpump. Barwas's pin code is 304505[4], and village code is 02655100. The area of Barwas is segregated as 422 hectares irrigated area, 323 hectares unirrigated, the 304 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 198 hectare area not available for cultivation.
