Barwara is a small village of 122 hectares in Alwar Tehsil in Alwar district in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Barwara depends on ALWAR, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include Two taps, One Well supply, which is 55.00% of the total supply, Two tanks, Two tubewells, and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, Two canals and Two springs. Barwara is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Handpump. Barwara's pin code is 301023[4], and village code is 00845400. The area of Barwara is segregated as 63 hectares irrigated area, 9 hectares unirrigated, the 9 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 40.82 hectare area not available for cultivation.

Barwara is a census village in the district of Alwar, Rajasthan. The village has a total population of 317 and has total administration over 61 houses which are connected to supplies basic amenities like water and sewerage.

They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of Alwar to sell earthen pot and make their living.
