Barsingsar is a small village of 6502 hectares in Bikaner Tehsil in Bikaner district in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Barsingsar depends on BIKANER, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include One tap, One Well supply, which is 35.00% of the total supply, One tank, One tubewell, and Two handpumps. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, Two canals and Two springs. Barsingsar is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Tubewell. Barsingsar's pin code is 334402[4], and village code is 00500300. The area of Barsingsar is segregated as 35 hectares irrigated area, 4335.51 hectares unirrigated, remaining 2131 hectare area not available for cultivation.

They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of Bikaner to sell agricultural produce and make their living.
