Barnapur is a small village of 67 hectares in Fatehpur Tehsil in Barabanki district in the State of Uttar Pradesh, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Barnapur depends on Fatehpur (NP) , the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include One tap, One Well supply which is 15.00% of the total supply, One tubewell and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Handpump. Barnapur's pin code is 225303[4], and village code is 05701100. The area of Barnapur is segregated as 57 hectares irrigated area, 1.845 hectares unirrigated area.
