Barli is a small village of 581 hectares in Chaksu Tehsil in Jaipur district, also known as the Pink City in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Barli depends on Chaksu, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include Two taps, One Well supply, Two tanks, Two tubewells, and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, Two canals and Two springs. Barli is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Handpump. Barli's pin code is 303901[4], and village code is 01647300. The area of Barli is segregated as 75.35 hectares irrigated area, 341.53 hectares unirrigated, the 42.16 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 121.47 hectare area not available for cultivation.
