Barkhera is a small village of 2615 hectares in Chhoti Sadri Tehsil in Chittorgarh district in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Barkhera depends on Rawatbhata, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include Two taps, One Well supply, Two tanks, Two tubewells, and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - One river, Two canals and Two springs. Barkhera is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Handpump. Barkhera's pin code is 312604[4], and village code is 03591700. The area of Barkhera is segregated as 22 hectares irrigated area, 28 hectares unirrigated, remaining 748.6 hectare area not available for cultivation.
