Barjan is a small village of 335 hectares in Nawa Tehsil in Nagaur district in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Barjan depends on Nawa, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include Two taps, One Well supply, Two tanks, Two tubewells, and Two handpumps. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, Two canals and Two springs. Barjan is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Well. Barjan's pin code is 341507[4], and village code is 01901500. The area of Barjan is segregated as 94 hectares irrigated area, 161 hectares unirrigated, remaining 80 hectare area not available for cultivation.
