Bari Kalan is a small village of 509 hectares in Bilara Tehsil in Jodhpur district, also known as the Blue City in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Bari Kalan depends on Bilara, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include Two taps, One Well supply, which is 210.02% of the total supply, Two tanks, One tubewell, and Two handpumps. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, Two canals and Two springs. Bari Kalan is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Well. Bari Kalan's pin code is 342602[4], and village code is 02013200. The area of Bari Kalan is segregated as 210.02 hectares irrigated area, 164.26 hectares unirrigated, the 62.92 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 72.2 hectare area not available for cultivation.
