Bargaon is a small village of 599 hectares in Banswara Tehsil in Banswara district, also known as City of Hundred Islands in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Bargaon depends on Banswara, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include Two taps, Two Wells supply, One tank, Two tubewells, and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, Two canals and Two springs. Bargaon is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Well. Bargaon's pin code is 327001[4], and village code is 03431000. The area of Bargaon is segregated as 385 hectares irrigated area, 68 hectares unirrigated, the 66 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 80 hectare area not available for cultivation.

They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of Banswara to sell agricultural produce and make their living.
