Barethi Askaran is a small village of 330 hectares in Banda Tehsil in Banda district in the State of Uttar Pradesh, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Barethi Askaran depends on Tindwari (NP), the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include One Well supply which is 20.00% of the total supply, and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Handpump. Barethi Askaran's pin code is 210001[4], and village code is 04789200. The area of Barethi Askaran is segregated as 120 hectares irrigated area, 150 hectares unirrigated area. the 20 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves) and remaining 39.52 hectare area not available for cultivation.
