Barbata is a small village of 505 hectares in Kheenvsar Tehsil in Nagaur district in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Barbata depends on Nagaur, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include Two taps, Two Wells supply, One tank, One tubewell, and Two handpumps. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, Two canals and Two springs. Barbata is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Tubewell. Barbata's pin code is 341025[4], and village code is 01824200. The area of Barbata is segregated as 193.07 hectares irrigated area, 210.5 hectares unirrigated, the 86.3 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 15 hectare area not available for cultivation.

Barbata is a census village in the district of Nagaur, Rajasthan. The village has a total population of 815 and has total administration over 119 houses which are connected to supplies basic amenities like water and sewerage.

They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of Nagaur to sell ghee and make their living.
