Barawa is a small village of 307 hectares in Nathdwara Tehsil in Rajsamand district, for Rajsamand Lake, an artificial lake created in the 17th century by Rana Raj Singh in the state of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Barawa depends on NATHDWARA, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include Two taps, One Well supply, which is 8.72% of the total supply, Two tanks, Two tubewells, and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, Two canals and Two springs. Barawa is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Handpump. Barawa's pin code is 313322[4], and village code is 03050800. The area of Barawa is segregated as 25 hectares irrigated area, 8.98 hectares unirrigated, the 218.89 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 54.03 hectare area not available for cultivation.

Barawa is a census village in the district of Rajsamand, Rajasthan. The village has a total population of 662 and has total administration over 176 houses which are connected to supplies basic amenities like water and sewerage.
