Barauli is a small village of 471 hectares in Bidhuna Tehsil in Auraiya district in the State of Uttar Pradesh, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Barauli depends on MALHOSI, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include Two taps, One Well supply, Two tanks, Two tubewells and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers,Two canals and Two springs. Barauli is also surrounded byTwo lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Handpump. Barauli's pin code is 206255[4], and village code is 04110800. The area of Barauli is segregated as 300.2 hectares irrigated area, 171 hectares unirrigated area.
