Barahawa is a small village of 448.1 hectares in Balrampur Tehsil in Balrampur district in the State of Uttar Pradesh, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Barahawa depends on Tulsipur (NP), the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include One Well supply. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Well. Barahawa's pin code is 271205[4], and village code is 06620600. The area of Barahawa is segregated as , 448.09 hectares unirrigated area.

Barahawa has Two banks and Two credit societies for the regulation of economic activity. The village is also equipped with Two recreational centers.
