Bar is a small village of 852 hectares in Bhim Tehsil in Rajsamand district in the state of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Bar depends on BEAWAR, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include Two taps, One Well supply, Two tanks, One tubewell, and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, Two canals and Two springs. Bar is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Handpump. Bar's pin code is 305921[4], and village code is 02958300. The area of Bar is segregated as 74.83 hectares irrigated area, 72.15 hectares unirrigated, the 232.17 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 228.04 hectare area not available for cultivation.

They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of BEAWAR and Rajsamand to sell ghee and make their living.
