Bapunagar is a small village of 1347 hectares in Shergarh Tehsil in Jodhpur district, also known as the Blue City in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Bapunagar depends on Phalodi, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include One tap, Two Wells supply, Two tanks, Two tubewells, and Two handpumps. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, Two canals and Two springs. Bapunagar is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Tap. Bapunagar's pin code is 342025[4], and village code is 01979900. The area of Bapunagar is segregated as 1320 hectares unirrigated, the 10 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 17 hectare area not available for cultivation.

Bapunagar is a census village in the district of Jodhpur, Rajasthan. The village has a total population of 1734 and has total administration over 306 houses which are connected to supplies basic amenities like water and sewerage.
