Bansra is a small village of 181 hectares in Nathdwara Tehsil in Rajsamand district, for Rajsamand Lake, an artificial lake created in the 17th century by Rana Raj Singh in the state of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Bansra depends on NATHDWARA, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include Two taps, One Well supply, which is 14.00% of the total supply, Two tanks, One tubewell, and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - One river, Two canals and Two springs. Bansra is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Handpump. Bansra's pin code is 313301[4], and village code is 03041500. The area of Bansra is segregated as 14 hectares irrigated area, 55 hectares unirrigated, the 48 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 64 hectare area not available for cultivation.

Bansra is a census village in the district of Rajsamand, Rajasthan. The village has a total population of 656 and has total administration over 133 houses which are connected to supplies basic amenities like water and sewerage.

They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of NATHDWARA and Rajsamand to sell agricultural produce and make their living.
