Bansra is a small village of 411 hectares in Nagaur Tehsil in Nagaur district in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Bansra depends on Nagaur, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include One tap, Two Wells supply, One tank, Two tubewells, and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, Two canals and Two springs. Bansra is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Handpump. Bansra's pin code is 341001[4], and village code is 01809200. The area of Bansra is segregated as 296.25 hectares unirrigated, the 57.26 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 57.18 hectare area not available for cultivation.
