Banshi is a small village of 757.6 hectares in Bidhuna Tehsil in Auraiya district in the State of Uttar Pradesh, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Banshi depends on bharthna, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include One Well supply and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Tap. Banshi's pin code is 206241[4], and village code is 04118400. The area of Banshi is segregated as 360.18 hectares irrigated area, 203.97 hectares unirrigated area.
