Banjariya is a small village of 564 hectares in Kherwara Tehsil in Udaipur district in the state of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Banjariya depends on Kherwara Chhaoni, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include Two taps, One Well supply, Two tanks, Two tubewells, and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, Two canals and Two springs. Banjariya is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Handpump. Banjariya's pin code is 313011[4], and village code is 03274500. The area of Banjariya is segregated as 2 hectares irrigated area, 210 hectares unirrigated, the 101.87 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 16 hectare area not available for cultivation.

They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of Kherwara Chhaoni and Udaipur to sell earthen pot and make their living.
