Bani is a small village of 143 hectares in Pachpahar Tehsil in Jhalawar district in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Bani depends on Jhalawar, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include Two taps, One Well supply, Two tanks, One tubewell, and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, Two canals and Two springs. Bani is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Handpump. Bani's pin code is 326512[4], and village code is 03981800. The area of Bani is segregated as 55.14 hectares irrigated area, 66.16 hectares unirrigated, the 11.29 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 10.45 hectare area not available for cultivation.
