Banewara is a small village of 1252 hectares in Masuda Tehsil in Ajmer district in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Banewara depends on Nasirabad, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include Two taps, One Well supply, which is 100.00% of the total supply, Two tanks, Two tubewells, and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, Two canals and Two springs. Banewara is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Handpump. Banewara's pin code is 305401[4], and village code is 02554800. The area of Banewara is segregated as 126 hectares irrigated area, 255 hectares unirrigated, the 556.06 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 67 hectare area not available for cultivation.

They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of Nasirabad and Ajmer to sell furniture and make their living.
