Bandra is a small village of 996 hectares in Jodhpur Tehsil in Jodhpur district, also known as the Blue City in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Bandra depends on Pipar City, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include Two taps, Two Wells supply, One tank, One tubewell, and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, Two canals and Two springs. Bandra is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Handpump. Bandra's pin code is 342606[4], and village code is 01952100. The area of Bandra is segregated as 340.5 hectares irrigated area, 345.74 hectares unirrigated, the 1.1 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 308.75 hectare area not available for cultivation.
