Bamori Kalan is a small village of 1661 hectares in Mangrol Tehsil in Baran district in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Bamori Kalan depends on Mangrol, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include One tap, One Well supply, Two tanks, Two tubewells, and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - One river, One canal and Two springs. Bamori Kalan is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Handpump. Bamori Kalan's pin code is 325215[4], and village code is 03856000. The area of Bamori Kalan is segregated as 1246.01 hectares irrigated area, 4.44 hectares unirrigated, the 83.22 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 327.3 hectare area not available for cultivation.

They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of Mangrol and Baran to sell ghee and make their living.
